Jessica Spitelli is a nurse practitioner who was born and raised in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs. She received her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and her Family Nurse Practitioner graduate degree from Loyola University School of Nursing.

Prior to joining MDHN, Jessica had been practicing as a nurse practitioner at an academic center with a focus in outpatient general gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.  She then transitioned to a community hospital with a focus in outpatient general gastroenterology.

Jessica is an active member of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Jessica believes that wellness and improved health outcomes are achieved through the combination of evidence-based medical practices and through understanding each patient’s unique lifestyle and needs. Jessica believes in a patient-centered and team-based approach to healthcare. She is committed to educating her patients and empowering them with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions about their health.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, going for walks, going to coffee shops, and gardening.
